Action 7: Dissemination
During the project implementation, several information activities were completed for the dissemination of project goals, activities and results. The beginning of the project was launched with a press conference (12.12.2017) attended by more than 35 participants – citizens and journalists. At the press conference were introduced the project goals, expected activities, and results.
Press conference – Start of the project 12.12.2017:
In the time period 20 – 22.05.2018 was conducted training of about 40 volunteers – ‘tour guides’. A big part of them were those who had examined the sites, gathered the materials, visited the museums, met the museum associates and the historians. These, in fact, were the participant’s thanks to which the virtual platform was created
During the project were conducted a series of several ‘historical tours’ and over 250 citizens, tourist, and visitors of the city participated. We have the ambition to continue these historical tours and this way besides surveying more sites and including them to the virtual platform, we could popularize the history, events, and places connected to them.
2 press conferences and 3 interviews; 7 information campaigns (presentation of the project and results in public places – halls, parks, open-air cinema, exhibitions, historical tours) among the local community. The total number of participants – 410.
During the project at each stage were developed info-materials: 2000 flayers and posters (1000+1000) with information for project goals, activities, partners and results. In the materials, there was a QR code leading to the virtual platform www.urbanrecovery.eu. All info-materials were distributed between partner organizations and delivered in local communities. For each partner was produced signboards and vinyl boards with information for the project, partners and logo of the Program. During the project, the info-boards were used for visualization of the project and its promotion.
Produced 1000 CDs, with information for project goals, activities, partners and Program “Europe for Citizens”. On the CDs there is information for all the 100 studied objects with pictures and related stories. The cover of CDs and the body of CDs contain the Program logo. Some of this CDs were distributed between the schools and Universities as well as museums, aiming to facilitate educational process of students and museum visitors.
At the project, a special Facebook page was created, and utilized for communication between partners and public presentation of project advancement in each phase.
A project web-site was created as part of the platform “unban recovery”, that contain information for the project and all current and completed activities, information for the 100 studied objects too. The web-site is visualized with the logo of “Europe for citizens“ in accordance with the program rules. We see as remarkable achievement how many citizens have visited the web-site – in the period August 2018 – May 2019 the web-site is visited by above 11 000 users.
Website visitors (22.06.2019):
Several publications in on-line space and on partners web-sites show advancement of the project as well as visualization of the Program and European Commission.
In results of the information campaign of the project, we reached an impressive amount of citizens – 11 735 citizens (information campaigns – 735 and visits of the virtual platform – 11 000), 790 indirect participants.
